How to get Star Ratings in the Google Search Results

In this article, we will show you how to add rich snippet star rating review which is also known as this rich snippet

There are three ways to display Star Ratings in Google Search Results:

1. Show Business Reviews

2. Manually

    a) Manually Add Star Rating

   b) Aggregate Ratings

1. Show Business Reviews

2. Manually

a) Manually Add Star Rating :

If you are not using those Star Rating plugins then you have to manually set the ratings by following the below instructions.

In this section, you can manually add reviews for this follow the below steps.

You will find this option in WordPress Dashboard ->  Structured Data -> Reviews -> click on Add Review like below the screenshot.

How to add in shortCode on Posts/Pages

First copy the shortcode for this go to the WordPress Dashboard -> Structured Data -> Reviews -> Copy the shortcode like below the screenshot.

Go to WordPress dashboard -> Pages -> Add New -> paste shortcode in visual editor box and then click on the “Publish” button

b) Aggregate Ratings

If you are not using those Star Rating plugins then you have to manually set the ratings by following the below instructions.

First go to WordPress dashboard -> Structured Data -> Schema Types -> click on Add schema Type.

1. Supported schema type you will get below fields

2. Aggregate Rating: Check this option.

3. Rating: A rating is an evaluation on a numeric scale, such as 1 to 5 stars in this field you need to enter Rating.

In the source code, JSON schema markup will be added like below the screenshot.

After that, you need to check the schema whether it’s validated or showing error in the Structure data testing tool.

3. Third-Party Compatibility

We are currently compatibility with these two plugins – KK Star Ratings and WP-PostRatings. You can use it by just enabling the option in Schema and Structure plugin.
