This tutorial helps you to set up the placements for schema types so, let’s get into it.
- In Structured data schema type, first, we request you to click on Add schema type and select schema type like WebPage, Blog posting, Article, etc.
- After selecting the schema type, you need to set the Placement for the schema markup for specific post/page or all posts where you want to show the schema markup.
For eg: If you want to show the Article schema only for Posts then you need to set the placement like “Post type —> Equals to —> Post”
Same you can follow this for pages as well “Post type —> Equals to —> Page”
If you want to set the Markup only for Single Page/Post then you need to set like this “Post —> Equals to —> Post name” or “Page—> Equals to —> Page name”
- Also, we have excluded feature where you can exclude any Post/Page for any Schema markup.
For eg: “Post —> Not Equal to (Excluded) —> Post Name”
That’s it for this tutorial!
